oldschool CxC

Yeah, I stole this link from Fark, but this is a pretty cool optical illusion. #2 doesn't do much for me, but 1 and 3 caught me with my mouth open. Lotsa cool ones here too.

If we hadn't done drugs, would we have done ministry work? Honduras 2005-2006
Gotta say -- ballsy move!
Desktop Sidebar is awesome for XP & PC's. I'm amazed at the new features -- I pop in a bunch of feeder sites, like My blog feed, or the Oldschool CxC blog feed (which I just enabled), and it'll send you any new posts into your feed-reader.
And the coolest part is 'make newspaper', which will make a webpage on your PC showing all the newest items, linked to the websites.
Oh well, it doesn't blow me away like Google Earth exactly, but we're moving closer every day -- digitally.
Hey, anyone can join me on tribe.net -- another amazing site.

PEACE!

I second, third, and fourth the complaints about the format. I didn't respond to Ari a while back in part because I can't stand these huge posts getting bigger with edited comments -- can we turn that off? I don't want anyone editing my posts like that - either comment or post anew.

Oh yeah, also because he's bat-shit insane. But that goes without saying. (Good to see you the other week Ari!)

SO: If you don't read Nerve Scanner, how else would find out about Tetka?

re: Sony's commentary -- I'd have liked to see it too. Don't know where it went?!?? And I don't know Zog either, but if the Right can have whacko extremists and PAC's, the Left needs 'em too. HA HA

re: this format --> I don't like that comments are hidden. That seems ... lame.
If you're going to comment, I suggest editing someone else's post and adding the 'less than' font color="blue" 'great than' tag and
'less than' /font 'greater than' to end that font.

I mean, this is the closest some of us get to any kind of chatting, so let's keep it two-ways!

Hope everyone's well. Hope to see Eric tonight for a bit. Looking forward to it. PEACE!

Eminem - a lame phenomenon as bad as Elvis Presley.
(from Without Me Lyrics - The Eminem Show Album)
Though I'm not the first king of controversy/
I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley, to do Black Music so selfishly/
and use it to get myself wealthy (Hey)/
there's a concept that works/
20 million other white rappers emerge/
but no matter how many fish in the sea it'd be so empty without me

I'm struggling with this format. I see that my early comments to Ari never got published. Anyway, that discussion has been joined and as a UCB grad and Century City Lawyer I can see both sides of the discussion (except for the kooky argument that US-ZOG caused 9/11, {AD inserted Link} that's just sweaty nuts). But I like that we can do this, free from the overeaching security state this country is coasting into on winds of fear mongering alliance of the truly paranoid/Homeland Security entrepenuer/political posturers.

Let us review some favorite Supreme Court pronouncements (BTW, no one mentions him, but I'm pulling for Judge Easterbrook, Official brother of TMQ), courtesy of reason.com:

“Fear of serious injury cannot alone justify suppression of free speech and assembly. Men feared witches and burned women. It is the function of speech to free men from the bondage of irrational fears.” Brandeis.

“..whether the legislation under review is wise or unwise is a matter with which we have nothing to do. Whether it is likely to work well or work ill presents a question entirely irrelevant to the issue. The only legitimate inquiry we can make is whether it is constitutional. If it is not, its virtues, if it have any, cannot save it; if it is, its faults cannot be invoked to accomplish its destruction. If the provisions of the Constitution be not upheld when they pinch as well as when they comfort, they may as well be abandoned.” George Sutherland
