I still haven't seen Casa L'Orange, which is a damn shame. If I had half a brain I would've come to visit straight from K-town this weekend and stayed until tomorrow. If someone wants to recommend me for a job in the area I'd move in a heartbeat.

Oh yes it does. Reminds me of when I used to work for that small computer company in the City, the boss used to buy many rounds of drinks every Friday night at the bar next door, after which I'd jump on the ol' GPZ and go lanesplitting all the way home on the traffic-jammed bridge. Good times, good times.

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer. I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. So, again, me JB and two of her friends from SF are going to be chilling on New Years eve with some Kentucky Bourbon, Czech Absinthe and Napa wine if anyone wants to join. I imagine Rick's got a great New Year's bash in O.T., though.
SO, what's teh difference between "post" and "post and publish"? And don't even mention a FAQ, I just want it short and sweet. Andrew, you haven't been up to my house since I painted it semi-gloss orange (technically "Sky Rocket Red"), have you? I made quite the impression on my neighbors so far, what with a marauding pit bull, torn up lawn, torn down garage door and now the paint job.

Erik: Honorary CC'er isn't much of an honor, but enjoy it! HA HA
Alien: I got a gig at ILX again (now Thomson Financial), except less tech, more acct mgmt/sales, & better $ (not Oracle $, but not too far off!) Sweet! My office is in the Financial District of SF. Beyond that, I don't know b/c I
start training in LA on Mon, 12/30.
Sony/Steve Barnes: Congrats to the Barnes clan!
(Man, I keep trying to get that kid thing happening, but the seeds just don't grow! heh heh)

Nice, Ari. If they're still hiring, my little bro is up tehre looking for work in the computer field. In teh meantime, Carolyn Seidman and Steve Barnes had a baby girl, Sophia at 8:56 last night. We're having a low key New Years at Casa L'Orange if anyone wants to come. Please let me know for purposes of rationing the Absinthe.
I offer a Wing Chun Salutation (hand over fist, bow) to Alien and all.
Happy upcoming 2003, homeys!
Peace to the CC clan.
May you all live long and prosper.
May your fruits ripen and dangle succulently on the vine.
May your nuts be the sacred treasure of nubile Queens.
I'm heading to San Francisco on Jan 13!! PSYCHED!!!
Scored a sweet job after only... 5 months of jobhunting! OUCH!!
But I am grateful to have it! Is everyone enduring the 2002 econo-lurch?
