Sir Charles has a new book out called "Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man?" Stupid title -- one step away from being a porn film -- and then I read here that he wanted to call it "Why Do White People Hate Me?" which is so much better it should have been no contest.

But, more importantly, basketball playoffs are here. I'm rooting against the Heat first and foremost, against the Pistons, and for the Suns. Barkley thinks his '93 team would destroy this team:
Last question. Could you and KJ and company beat Amaré and Nash and company?

Let me just tell you this, I saw (former Suns player) Dan Majerle on TV, and they asked him if that Suns team played this Suns team 100 times, how many times would they beat them? He said 99. I called him up and I said, "First of all, you're wrong. We would have beat them 100." So that's the answer to your question. I did, I called him. He said they'd beat us one time, and I got pissed.
Uh, Chuck... you were great and all, but KJ couldn't contain Nash, and Chambers/Ceballos were your frontcourt mates. Buy hey, whatever lets you sleep at night...

Sez here the Heat don't make it past the Pistons, and the Spurs beat the Pistons in six.

Well, I'm pretty sure KJ would toast NAsh on the other end, or do you forget the most fantabulous dunk ever (by a Cal grad), when, in a critical playoff game, at a critical juncture, he can baseline and dunked on Olajawoun in his prime AND Willis (or, big athletic stiff who's name escapes)? Loud, angry VIOLENT dunk. Nash does not get the better of that matchup, but Chuck would reduce Amare to tears.
